Define your own success – Our business in life is not to get ahead of others, but to get ahead of ourselves to break our own records, to outstrip our yesterday by our today.
The trouble comes when we try to fashion our success to the outside world’s specifications even though these are not the specifications drawn up in our own hearts.
Compete against no onr but yourself. For whom are we succeeding, for ourselves or for somebody else? Success, if it is to be meaningful, must be a personal thing & not living up to other people’s standards.
Remember to be thankful for what you have. You have no idea how many people would love to have what you’ve got
