By Watchdog reporter

MPs Ismail Ali, Odonga Otto and Hassan Fungaroo are claiming that there is an orchestrated land grabbing agenda in their constituencies of using pastoralists as proxies.

Hon. Hassan Fungaroo says, “Gardens are being destroyed by ‘Baraaro’. When they are reported to police, they don’t want to compensate the affected people. Instead they respond arrogantly threatening people and telling them that they will call their ‘Generals’ in the army”

During the same press conference, MP Odonga Otto wants police to provide answers on how and where these pastoralists are getting guns from as he questions whether these people (baraaro)don’t have land at their homes
