“The girl in the yellow jumper” is the first ever Ugandan movie, produced in Uganda, by a Ugandan Director and acted by Ugandas’ very own actors to hit Netflix.
It’s a Ugandan true story directed and produced by Loukman Ali featuring actors like Maurice Kirya and Rehema Nanfuka among others .
The movie trailer can be found on YouTube as its Netflix premiering dates have not yet been revealed.
The coming soon Netflix girl in the yellow jumper movie is a great milestone for the fast growing Uganda film industry and we can say that we are proud of our very own.
It has opened channels for other movie Directors and producers to internationalize their content so that our country is promoted and for them to earn from different content buyers and movie distributors.
It’s time for us Ugandans to support our very own by purchasing the movie, going to watch it in Cinemas and making it go as viral as possible.
It’s a wake up call for different production companies who need PR to come on board and work with such talent as a way of promoting your brand.
We are so excited and can’t wait for the movie to premiere, congratulations Loukman for doing what seemed impossible for now.
