MTN launches “start a new life” promotion for new subscribers

MTN Uganda has today launched a promotional campaign dubbed “start a new life with MTN”. MTN is keen to show why it is a network that understands the needs of the customer.
Millions of customers have trusted MTN as their preferred network for voice, internet and other telecommunication services.
This month long promotion offers more Ugandans the opportunity to join a network that promises a reliable and affordable service for its customers wherever they are across the country.
Customers who buy and activate their MTN SIM card will become part of the largest telecommunication family in Uganda. Upon the purchase of a SIM card, customers will have at their disposal MyPakaPaka that gives them integrated voice, SMS and internet solutions, customized to suit their budget and communication needs.
For those customers who can’t do without MBs, MTN offers general 24 hour data and social media bundles like WhatsApp, Twitter, plus Facebook (WTF) from as low UGX 250 /- daily.
Commenting on this new initiative, the MTN Chief Marketing Officer – Olivier Prentout announced that the new customers joining MTN will each get 30 Free Minutes, 100 Free MBs, 100 Free SMS and UGX 1,000 worth of Free Mobile Money when they activate their new MTN SIM cards.
“We hope that this offer will be a good way of getting more Ugandans to start a bright new life with us,” he said.
Anyone can conveniently join MTN by visiting any MTN shop and buy a SIM card for only UGX 2,000/- then submit a copy of their national identity card details to complete their registration.
Upon registration, the customers SIM card will be instantly connected to the MTN network. To activate the promotional offer, customers will be required to load at least UGX 500/- or more worth of airtime.
Facts about the promotion.
· The promotion is available to all customers that purchase new MTN SIM cards
· The promotion runs from 4th to 30th of September 2017.
· The promotion entails the following free offers;
› 30 minutes to call any MTN numbers.
› 100 SMS to send to any MTN numbers.
› 100 MB of Internet.
› 1,000/- worth of Mobile Money to use.
· To get started, a customer needs to buy and activate a new MTN SIM card from any MTN shop.
· To get the free minutes, SMS and MBs of Internet, the customer is required to load the new SIM card with at least 500/- worth of airtime. The free offers will then be immediately available to use.
· To redeem the free 1,000/- Mobile Money, the customer is required to activate the Mobile Money account of their new SIM card by dialing *165# and creating their secret PIN. The free 1,000/- will then be available for use.
· The bonus minutes, SMS and MBs are valid for 7 days from the date they are redeemed.
