Starting today,Airtel and MTN customers will be sending and receiving mobile money directly into their respective mobile money accounts.
This process is going to help Airtel customers and those of MTN to send and receive money without being asked a secret code.
To send money to a customer from Airtel to MTN, dial *185# ,send money (option 1) then sending to Airtel or other number or MTN and then u can send or withdraw cash.
However, if the MTN customer is not registered for mobile money, you select option 1 above and generate a secret code in which you will have to give to the recipient for withdrawing from an Airtel money agent.
