Herman Kasekende has been named the new Standard Chartered Bank Chief Executive Officer in Zambia.

Kasekende’s tenure as the CEO of Standard Chartered Bank Uganda is ending this month after four and half years of service.

Kasekende has 25 years of experience in the Banking sector and he has spent most of his career at Standard Chartered Bank Uganda.

He was named CEO in 2012 thus becoming one of the few Ugandans who have headed Commercial Banks in the country.

Albert Saltson, a Ghanaian national will replace Kasekende here in Uganda. He has been CEO Standard Chartered Bank Gambia for the last one and half years.
