Do not ever come back home in case things do not go well in your marriage – Mariam Ndagire to Rema

Veteran singer and actress Mariam Ndagire has advised singer Rema Namakula to forget about her family now that she chose to get married.

On Thursday, Namakula officially introduced her lover Hamza Sebunya to her family and friends in an introduction ceremony that happened in Nabingo.

And being one of Namakula’s guardians and mentors, Ndagire noted that they exchanged their daughter (Namakula) for bride price, and she should never consider running back home in case things in her marriage turn bad.

“Thank you Rema and Dr Hamza, may you enjoy your marriage. Please Rema settle and be a good wife, don’t ever come back to our homes unless if it’s just for a visit. You got married and now your husband’s family is your family, we exchanged you for bride price,” she noted on social media.

Namakula officially got married to the doctor, after five years of cohabiting with fellow singer Edrisa Musuuza aka Eddy Kenzo with whom she has a daughter Aamaal Musuuza.

Recently she noted that she is so happy with Hamza for he is the only man who has ever loved her the way she is.

“For the first time I have found someone I hate leaving, I have found someone that I can’t get enough of, I have found someone that accepts me for who I am and doesn’t tell me that I need to change, I think I have found someone who I can fall madly in love with,” Rema noted.
