We cannot invite Kenzo to Rema’s introduction ceremony- Organisers

The organizing committee of Rema Namakula’s introduction ceremony has said that her ex-lover Eddy Kenzo is not welcome at the function.

Rema who dumped fellow singer recently, is expected to introduce her new-lover Dr Hamza Sebunya on November 14, 2019 to her parents in Nabbingo, Wakiso district.

In an interview with Bukedde newspaper on Saturday, the chairperson organizing committee Issa Musoke said they have given out introduction ceremony cards and Kenzo’s name was not on the list of guests that were invited.

‘’All our guests have already received their cards and there is no way we can add Kenzo to the list that is already fully sorted,’’ Musoke said.

The development follows Kenzo’s revelation that he would attend Rema’s introduction ceremony if he is invited in good faith.

Addressing journalists in Kampala on Thursday, the multi-award- winning musician said he has no problem with supporting his life friend.

“If I am invited to Rema Namakula’s introduction ceremony in good faith, I will go and support my life friend Namakula as I know it is a ‘gown’ she has always wanted. No-one knows Rema like I do; I have spent five years with her – eating and sleeping together,” said Kenzo.
