Brenda Nanyonjo, the CEO of Miss Uganda Foundation has finally thrown South African-based Ugandan socialite Zari Hassan, off the beauty pageant’s Judge Panel.
This followied the verbal fight she had with nbs Ketchup show host Anita Fabiola, during the crowning of Oliver Nakakande as the new Miss Uganda 2019.
Drama started when Zari ordered Fabiola to open for her the envelope that contained names of the pageant winner, something that Fabiola, who was the show host politely declined to do. But Zari was not going to have any of it.
The boss lady, who had acted calm seemed infuriated when Fabiola later on mentioned the word ‘mama’, throwing a major tantrum in front of the guests who included Miss World Vanessa Ponce.
But during Salvador’s Just Comedy show that happened on Wednesday, Nanyonjo claimed that her foundation condemns Zari’s action, and they had decided to take her off the judge panel, after two years of service.
“At Miss Uganda we condemn the bad spirit. That is not what we stand for, the rotten apples have been thrown out,” she stated.
On Wednesday during an interview with nbs, Nanyonjo applauded Fabiola, claiming that the maturity she showed while handling Zari tantrums, was a good example of the excellent work that her foundation and team does with beauty queens.
“We have a lot of things to do as the foundation. I don’t know if she did what she did as a stunt for publicity. I applaud my girl Anita Fabiola for being a good example and showing the world that we train our girl well during boot camp,” she said.
Fabiola was one of the 2013 Miss Uganda contestants emerging first runner up.
