Lawyer Isaac Sendegeya has been shot dead.
Sendegeya was ambushed by yet to be identified gunmen who opened fire at him while at his home in Kisoro, South Western District of Uganda.
The incident happened on Sunday morning at around 2:30 am.
Kigezi sub region Police Spokesperson Elly Maate said that police rushed to the scene of crime but it was already tempered with by relatives of the deceased who transferred the body to the sitting room.
“Nobody has been arrested in connection with this murder,” he said.
Maate further revealed that police have recovered one bullet cartridge and the case has been recorded at Kisoro police station.
