The former Blu*3 singer Jackie Chandiru has on Friday collapsed while preparing to deliver a keynote speech to students of Makerere University Business School (Mubs) in Nakawa.
Chandiru was invited to Mubs as a guest speaker to address students about the dangers of drug abuse.
However, as she walked towards the podium, she suddenly fell and she was quickly rushed to a nearby health centre for treatment.
As an drug addict, the singer after over three years in rehabilitation centre has been slowly catching up. With the help of friends and family, she had managed to ‘get off the ground and walked again.’
Meanwhile, Chandiru is one of the artistes who will be sharing a stage with the legendary Lingala artist Awilo Longomba come next month on 15th at Kampala Serena Hotel.
