Musician Sadat Mukiibi popularly known as Khalifa Aganaga plots to join the list of artistes with academic degrees after confirming that he has joined Kansanga based Kampala International University (KIU) for an undergraduate degree in Law.
The ‘Katono’ singer has expressed his excitement through an instagram post.
“Am now a registered student at KIU, Course: Law #RubagaSouth2021.”
Earlier this week, Aganaga disclosed his intentions of running for Rubaga South Member of Parliament seat in 2021 general election in a bid to replace fellow artiste Kato Lubwama.
Aganaga claimed that Lubwama has ‘weak’ academic papers and has not done enough to help the people of his constituency, to confirm his ‘academic theory’; Aganaga posted his Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education (UACE ) results online and dared Lubwama do the same.
As a future ideal candidate for the seat, Aganaga has decided to go back to school to decorate his curriculum vitae (CV) with a Law degree.
However, rumors have it that Aganaga is not only struggling musically, but he has also grappled with University studies too. He first enrolled at Makerere University but he had to cut the studies short due to unbearable retakes semester in-semester out.
But let’s hope that this time round things go well as planned for him.
