Chameleone cancels show over David Lutalo’s bigger poster photo

Self proclaimed East Africa’s number one Jose Chameleone has cancelled his Netherlands show after organizers making his poster photo smaller than David Lutalo’s.

The show organized by events promoter Eddy Messiah is slated for February 23, 2019 and it has Chameleone, DJ Erycom and Lutalo as guest performers.

Early this year, the Leone Island boss rallied his Netherlands fans to join him at Sky Palace Amsterdam, for the music show, but later, through his Facebook page, Chameleone called off the show promising to communicate new dates soon.

Speaking to a local TV station on Monday, Messiah revealed that the mateeka singer decided to pull out of the show because DJ Erycom, the official DJ of the day had drafted a poster for the show where his (Erycom), Lutalo’s photos were bigger than his.

“On seeing the poster, Chameleone took it as a sign of disrespect and used it as an excuse to cancel the show, claiming that David Lutalo and DJ Erycom cannot be bigger than him.”

Messiah also explained that the singer had requested for €2000 (approximately Shs10 million) to perform at the show.

“I paid him a deposit of €1000 (over Shs5million) and I was supposed to give him the balance on arrival to Netherlands but ever since he cancelled he is dodging me yet I want my money back,” noted Messiah.

“Chameleone should return my money or else we shall make all his international tours impossible.”
