What began as an interactive synergy ended up in a brawl and exchanging insults between Rubaga South Member of Parliament Kato Lubwama and events promoter Andrew Mukasa, the proprietor of Bajjo Events.

While appearing on Spark TV’s Kona show on Friday night, the legislator lost temper and slapped his fellow man when the whole world is watching.

It all started when Mukasa said that Lubwama makes no contribution in parliament because he cannot speak English.

He said MPs are busy defending Kyadondo East MP Robert Kyagulanyi(Bobi Wine)’s music career but Lubwama is keeping behind the curtains due to his limiting factor of not knowing English.

“Yesterday we spent the whole day at parliament but I swear Kato is nothing compared to his colleagues. They are intellectuals and speak good English. Kato is ever quiet,” said Mukasa.

Adding, “Kato is also a musician, currently Bobi Wine’s music shows are being blocked by government but Kato couldn’t join his fellow MPs to defend the singer because he cannot speak English,”

However, Lubwama who looked very angry responded, “When we are here talking about issues concerning music, we should keep parliament off the topic.

“This guy doesn’t know parliament so he should not talk about it,” the legislator fumed.

“Now what do u want me to tell Bobi Wine, I have nothing to tell him so I can’t involve myself in his business,”

Before allowing Mukasa to utter out any other ‘annoying’ statement, Lubwama was already slapping the events promoter.

He slapped him like three times before moving out of the studio in protest.

“I don’t speak with stupid people,” said Lubwama.

The show hosted by Miles Rwamiti every Friday was also attended by Abtex also an events promoter.
