Boda boda rider gunned down in Kabale

Police in Kabale district is investigating circumstances under which a 33 years old man was gunned down.

On Saturday at around 10pm while at Ihimbi cell, Rutooma ward, Northern Division, Kabale Municipality, Byaruhanga Rogers, 33 a Boda Boda rider was shot dead by unknown assailants.
The deceased hails from Murambo village, Kitojo parish, Bubare sub county, Rubanda district.
The assassins were three in number, armed with a rifle, putting on civilian attire with hoods covering part of their faces.
According to eye witnesses, the deceased had just entered a bar and heard someone calling chants of Bobi Wine.
When he went outside to find out who was the person, he was shot instantly.
The assailants disappeared immediately to unknown location.
Assailants were moving on foot.
Elly Maate, the Kigezi region Police spokesperson has confirmed the news. Maate adds that was informed as soon as possible and  rushed to the scene.
