Kiira Road police on Wednesday arrested two Kenyan nationals for allegedly stealing from an American bussiness woman at Acacia Mall.
The suspects; Susan Njeri 36 and James Mwora 45, were arrested on 28th April 2018 and exhibits recovered following evidence from a security CCTV camera at the mall.
Security footage appears to show a man stealthily taking the bag and passing it onto his female counterpart who walked out of the restaurant like a casual customer.
The victim went to Kamwokya Police Station and reported the incident, saying she never noticed anything because she was focused a conversation during her dinner.
Both suspects are currently detained at Kiira Road Police Station and will be charged of theft and being in possession of suspected stolen items.
Police believes that duo could be behind atleast three other theft cases that took place at Acacia mall in the recent days.
