Following the recent accusations of having sex with female students, Kibuli Secondary School Head Master Hajj Ali Mugagga has been sent on a forced leave as investigations into the matter take course.
In a letter dated 23 January, 2018, Hajj Mugagga reveals that he successfully attained his annual leave and it will commence on 23 January for a period of 36 days.
According to the school’s management, Hajjat Mastulah Nambajjwe (Deputy Headmistress-welfare) is now the acting Head Teacher.
“Effective 24th January 2018, Hajjat Mastulah Nambajjwe (Deputy Headmistress – Welfare) will be the Acting Head Teacher.
This will be pending the Board of Governor meeting following the handover by the former headmaster Hajj Mugagga Ali hand over.
All activities remain normal and the school will resume as per the start of term.
We regret all the inconvenience that will be caused by this development,” School Management noted.
Hajj Mugagga was transferred to Kibuli Secondary School in 2015 from Lubiri SS.
While at Lubiri SS, he was a centre of several wars, according to some teachers and students.
They said he ruthless mismanaged the school’s financial docket, promoted those who professed his Islamic faith and reportedly forced non-Muslim students to put on the veil on Fridays among others and those are some of the reasons why he was transferred to Kibuli SS.
Apparently, Mr. Mugagga is being accused of ruthlessly sleeping with underage female students after promising them a bright future.
