India’s Vice President Hamid Ansari & wife Salma paid tribute to Mahatma Gandhi ‘s statue in Jinja and later took on a boat cruise to the source of the Nile.
Ansari who came to Uganda on Wednesday for a three official visit, held bilateral talks with President Yoweri Museveni and attended a business forum.
But among the things he could not go back without touring was River Nile. On his tour Ansari praised Uganda’s tourism and he also managed to pay tribute to Gandhi’s statue.
