Bobi Wine’s bodyguard Edward Sebuufu aka Eddie Mutwe has welcomed a bouncing baby boy.
Eddie Mutwe who is currently a political prisoner at Kitalya prison is a father again after his wife giving birth on Thursday night.
This exciting news was shared by Bobi Wine through his Facebook page on Friday, saying that both the mother and child are alright.
“My brother Eddie Mutwe was blessed with a bouncing baby boy last night. Mother and baby are in good health. We give thanks to God. Even if he is still locked up in Kitalya Prison for no reason, I hope this news will warm his heart and make him strong,” the former presidential candidate said.
Eddie Mutwe is among other National Unity platform (NUP) supporters who were arrested in December last year while on Bobi Wine’s campaign train in Kalangala.
Prosecution alleges that all the 49 suspects were found in possession of four rounds of ammunition which is a monopoly of the defence forces.
According to prosecution, the accused are subject to military law by virtue of Section 119 of the Uganda People’s defence Force Act, 2005.
So far 31 suspects have been granted bail whereas Eddie Mutwe, Bobi Wine’s singing partner Nubian Li and 16 others are still languishing at Kitalya Prison.
