Good looking hair is every woman’s dream. But it’s sometimes difficult to achieve it because hair maintenance can be pricey.

Average salons charge about Shs10,000 and above on hair conditioning. If that’s a bit costly for you, don’t worry for we have the perfect solution.

Today we are going to share with you a few steps on how to use Shs500 on cooking oil; yes the oil you use when cooking or frying food, to keep your hair in shape.

Some prefer to call it a hair mask and this is how you can do it at home.

Step by step

Pour 2-3 spoons of cooking oil in a bowl but for added advantages, you can add white egg (without a York) and honey if you have it, then stir the mixture.

Make sure that your hair is clean, then start applying the mixture on your scalp and massage the hair for some minutes to make sure that the mixture spreads all over the hair.

And for better result, you can wrap your hair with a hot wet towel. This will help to open the skin pores thus enabling the mixture to penetrate into the deep roots of the hair.

Leave the hair for a few hours and then wash the mixture from your hair with shampoo. Dry the hair and then comb.

Simple isn’t it! But the results you’ll get after that oil treatment might make your salon hair conditioning sessions a history.

Advantages of this mixture

Before we talk about the advantages it brings to the hair, we can’t fail to acknowledge how cheap, reliable and efficient oil treatment can be.

According to experts, cooking oil is the best solution to dandruff and scalp irritation. It’s not a secret that the conditioning creams used in salons contain strong chemicals that sometimes cause irritations, allergies and stuffs, but cooking oil is just tender on skin.

It’s also noted that this mask prevents hair loss as it strengthens the hair roots.

Plus, oil always leaves your hair smooth, relaxed, shinning and silky.
