The Uganda National Examinations Board (UNEB) has on Thursday morning released the 2019 Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education (UACE) results.
The ceremony presided over by Education Minister Janet Museveni took place at the Office of the Prime Minister in Kampala.
According to UNEB Executive Secretary Dan Odongo, a total of 104,476 candidates sat for last year’s final examinations with female 43,625 candidates as opposed to their male counterparts-60,851 candidates.
He said the 2019 performance was better than that of the previous year.
How to check results on Phone:
In your message box, type UACE <space> INDEX NUMBER and send it to 6600.
For example, to check the results of the candidate with index number U1016/001, in your message box, type UACE U1016/001 AND SEND TO 6600.
The user should then receive his/her examination results or registration details instantly. You will receive an SMS at a cost of UGX 500 per candidate.
