Police in Rubanda district is investigating circumstances under which a 34-year-old woman was allegedly raped and later murdered by unknown killers.
Elly Matte, the Kigezi regional police spokesperson told our reporter that the deceased is Agnes Twine of Katasya cell Nyarurambi ward, Rubanda town council Rubanda district .She was found allegedly murdered few meters to her house on Monday morning .
It’s alleged that Sunday she was at her social evening in the center as usual, only to be found dead along the way the next morning by the brother who was going to work. He notified police which visited the scene of crime and took the body to Kabale referral hospital mortuary for postmortem.
According to Maate, the doctors discovered that she was raped first and the assassins used a stick to pierce in her private parts, bled furiously and died instantly.
