Police in Kabale has in detention a 38 years old man for allegedly murdering his wife.
Osbert Bakebwa of Kashanda village, Nyakasharara parish Kaharo subcounty Kabale district is alleged to have murdered his wife Gloria Katushabe by beheading her and cutting her severely with a panga.
It’s alleged that on Wednesday 13/9/18 at around 12:30 hours at the above address while they were alone in the garden, for reasons not yet known, the man beheaded the wife and ran home and hid himself in the house.
Elly Maate, the Kigezi region Police spokesperson told our reporter that Police was notified as soon as possible , visited the scene and got the man from his hideout and was arrested.
The body was taken to Kabale referral hospital mortuary for postmortem and inquiries underway.
This case has been registered at Kaharo police post SD 05/13/09/18.
Maate has condemned all kinds of lawlessness and called on the public to always report to police wherever they have grievances than resorting to committing crime.
