Internal Affairs Minister Gen Jeje Odongo and Police Spokesperson Emilian Kayima have today tested it rough as angry mourners chased them away from slain police officer Muhammad Kirumira’s feneral at his ancestral village in Mpambire ,Mpigi district.
The mourners who were shouting ‘people power, our power’on top of their voices pelted the two government officials with stones accusing them of failing to protect the citizens.
The funeral ceremony which started with speeches at around 3:00pm, was sort of an opposition rally with speaker after speaker condenming government for failing to control the rampant killings.
The officials bowed to people’s pressure thus fleeing the scene amid chaos.
