1 dead in Kisoro fatal accident

Police in Kisoro district is investigating circumstances under which a fatal accident occurred on Saturday evening.

The accident occurred at  Nyakabande along Kisoro -Kabale road involving vehicle registration number  UAK 557A Fuso fighter driven by the owner identified as  Valensi Aribinyongyera aka Kasingye Maria,  38.
He who died on spot. He was a resident of Nyamasizi,  Ruhonwa,, Rubanda district and was transporting max pax building materials from Kabale to Kisoro.
Police visited the scene and the body was taken to Kisoro hospital mortuary for postmortem and vehicle towed to Kisoro police station.
According to the Kigezi region Police spokesperson Elly maate, the  preliminarily cause of the accident was brake failure.
This case has been registered at Kisoro police station file number  TAR 23/2818.
