Uganda Communications Commission (UCC) Executive Director Godfrey Mutabazi has suspended licenses of 23 radio stations over promoting, advertising witchcraft and aiding electronic fraud.
According to UCC Publicist Pamela Ankunda the closed stations were warned before but failed to adhere to the calling.
The closed radio sttions include MetroFM, NileFM, Kagadi Broadcasting Services, Emambya FM, VillageClub FM, Radio kitara, Packwach FM, Tropical FM, Apex FM, Bamboo FM, Eastern Voice FM, EyeFM, Victoria FM, RFM,KiiraFM, TigerFM, GreaterAfrican Radio, Dana FM, Gold FM, Hits FM, DembeFM.
