ISO, Attorney general dragged to court over missing New Vision journalist

The Attorney General and the Internal Security Organisation (ISO) have been dragged to court over the Vision Group journalist Charles Etukuri who was abducted by security operatives on 12 February, 2018, at New Vision head offices on second Street industrial area in Kampala.

Etukuri has since been held incominicado.

Police has since said they don’t have not know the whereabouts of the journalist.

Its not clear why he was arrested or kidnapped but sources have linked it to his stories in the New Vision. Lady Justice Lydia Mugambe of the High Court’ Civil Division has set Monday the 19th, February, 2018 to hear the petition. VISION Group lawyer Tony Kirabira filed the petition.
