The game against Cote D’Ivoire is not a friendly match. We need every player to give in 100 percent commitment to make sure Uganda finishes third in the group. The evaluation of players continues and with the football exhibited in the first two matches, this will be a good stepping stone to continue with the team.
Positive energy:

Shaban Boost:
Striker Muhammed Shaban trained with the rest of the teammates on Saturday morning.
The KCCA forward had missed the previous match against Namibia due to an ankle sprain.
Shaban’s timely recovery will boost the attacking options with Derrick Nsibambi and Nelson Senkatuka all available for the match.
Goalie Keni Saidi sickness:
On a worrying note however, goalkeeper Keni Saidi missed the Saturday training due to a bout of malaria.
The rest of the players are ready for the match on Monday. Only defender Timothy Awanyi is expected to miss the game due to suspension.
