Uganda Revenue Authority (URA) Customs authorities at the Busia border have today morning intercepted a one Wahib, a conductor of Bus Car heading to Kampala from Nairobi with counterfeit Ugandan currency amounting to 189.1M Ugx concealed as dog food.
Upon being busted , Wahib informed the investigations team that a one Sarah gave him the “goods” to be delivered to Swaib in Kampala.
In collaboration with URA counterparts in Kenya, Sarah has been arrested in Nairobi and the hunt is on for Swaib.
The authority has strongly condemned the practice and apparently the suspect is being transported to Kampala for further investigations.
