Information reaching our news desk indicates that former presidential candidate Dr. Kizza Besigye has won over police tactics of cordoning his home in Kasangati to find his way to the city center ahead of his planned procession against lifting the age limit.

Yuasa

Earlier today, police heavily deployed at Besigye’s home to bar him from carrying out any form of procession.

However, security officers have been dismayed after being informed that the person they are ‘guarding’ has already left for the city.

The officers had blocked Besigye’s car thinking he was inside yet it was a trick; the man had already sketched his way out of his home.

Meanwhile, age limit bill opponents such as the four time presidential candidate, DP President Norbert Mao and a section of MPs have vowed to use all the necessary means never to let the controversial bill pass.
