Earlier today at High Court, Cynthia Munwangari, girlfriend to Matthew Kanyamunyu also one of the suspects in Kenneth Akena’s murder case shocked the nation when she approached some of the deceased’s family members and started to greet them.

Munwangari who seemed to want reconciliation with the late Akena’s family, exchanged handshakes and a few smiles with them.

In March this year, Munwangari and Joseph Kanyamunyu were granted bail whereas Matthew Kanyamunyu has been denied bail today for the third time in a row.

Prosecution alleges that the three suspects on 12 November, 2016, while on Kampala-Jinja road near Malik Car Bond opposite Uganda Manufacturers Association showground in Nakawa Division, with malice aforethought, caused the death of child rights activist Akena by shooting.
