The International Police Organization commonly known as Interpol has cleared tycoon Jack Pemba of any criminal record.

The Certificate of good conduct dated 15 August, 2017 indicates that Jack Pemba has never been convicted of any criminal offence or come to adverse police notice.

“This is to certify that according to the criminal records maintained in Uganda, Pemba Jackson Akim, holder of passport number 517521005 issued by the Government of United Kingdom has never been convicted of any criminal offence or come to adverse police notice,” stated Nabirye Lukiya, the head of NCB Interpol Kampala.

Pemba was in April this year arrested at Entebbe International Airport as he tried to fly out of the country after being accused of money laundering.

A few years ago he went on a spending spree in public places despite his source of income remaining a mystery.
