Last year, government adamantly refused to bail out Ugandan business people who had crumbling business empires.

100 Ugandan companies needed over shs1 trillion from government to be saved from collapsing.

However, today New Vision reported that the same government which refused to rescue Ugandan businessmen has given out shs64 billion to Amina Hersi Moghe,a Somali woman to carry out sugar cane project in the country.

It should be noted that since last year, Amina’s business empire has been crumbling and recently she closed some Nakumatt supermarket branches in Uganda over debts.
