Forum for Democratic Change (FDC) candidate for Kyadondo East parliamentary seat Apollo Kantinti has decided to put his last campaign on hold so that he can trail to Kira Police Station to demand for the release of his ‘enemy’ Bobi Wine.

He said he is heading to Kira Police station to demand the release of Bobi Wine, so the campaigns can conclude peacefully. Kantinti confirmed he will be joined by FDC strongman Dr Kizza Besigye.

According to Kantinti  he lost his Kyadondo East seat because of similar involvment by a third party, the Electoral Commision, in the last election in the constituency so he could not allow this to happen again.

The Court of Appeal nullified Kantinti’s election in April on grounds that the Electoral Commission did not comply with electoral laws.

Bobi Wine was earlier today arrested in Kasangati as he tried to stage his last campaign at Kasangati grounds.
