On Friday evening it was Makerere University Researcher Dr. Stella Nyanzi was reportedly kidnapped by unknown state agents.
She was picked from up after the Rotary Fellowship that she addressed that evening.
However, today morning CIID Boss Grace Akullo revealed the law enforcement body was holding Nyanzi.
“I can confirm Nyanzi’s arrest,” said Akullo.
Apparently, Stella Nyanzi is being held at Jinja Road police after briefly being checked into Butabika mental hospital.
Her file is already sanctioned, could be aligned in court on Monday next week.
