IGG Mulyagonja gives leaders ultimatum to declare their income, assets and liabilities online

The Inspector General of Government (IGG), Irene Mulyagonja Kakooza has given all Leaders a deadline of 31 March,2017 to declare all their income, assets and liabilities online.

According to the notice from the Mulyagonja, all leaders are required to declare their Income, Assets and Liabilities under the Leadership Code Act 2002, and declarations for 2017, will be submitted to the IGG using the Inspectorate of Government Online Declaration System (IG-ODS), in accordance with the Leadership Code (Declaration Forms) Regulations 2016.

“All leaders should submit their reliable mobile phone numbers and email addresses to the IGG through their Accounting Officers in order to receive an “invitation to declare link”. Once the invitation is received, all leaders are advised to complete and submit their declarations before the deadline of 31/3/2017,” Mulyagonja said.

“Leaders who would not have received the “invitation to declare” email by 28th February 2017, should inform their institution focal person or send an email to declarations@igg.go.ug or call: +256-0414-231183/0776-231184/0702-231184,” She added.
