Ingrid vows to fight on, says Muntu has no authority to withdraw her name from EALA race

The row within Uganda’s main opposition Party,Forum for Democratic Change( FDC) has continued to deepen.

Earlier today,the Party’s President General, Mugisha Muntu wrote to Paliament withdrawing Ingrid Turinawe from the East African Legislative Assembly (EALA).

However, the party’s National Mobilizer has insisted that she is still in the race.

According to Turinawe, the author of the letter has no authority to withdraw her from the race adding that she has not seen her copy yet.

“I am in the race, the author of that letter has no authority to withdraw me. I have not seen my copy though, waiting for it so that i reply,” Turinawe said.
