The Democratic Party ( DP) has finally opened competition for Mukasa Mbidde’s East Africa Legislative Assembly (EALA) ticket.
The oldest party in Uganda has invited all applications to contest for the position of the member of EALA on a DP ticket.
Recently, a salient war sparked with the party when its President General, Norbert Mao tried to endorse Mbidde as a sole candidate for the EALA race on a DP ticket.
According to a letter dated 27 January, 2017 addressed to all DP members, all eligible party members interested in the EALA MP seat on the party ticket should forward their applications from 27 January, 2017 to Friday 3 February,2017.
