President Museveni has told the people occupying land within Water Sources such as lakes, rivers, wetlands and forests to vacate them before the month of July or face eviction.

Hill Water

The President made the remarks while commissioning the Ggaba Water Treatment Complex aimed at increasing the supply of water to parts of Kampala, Wakiso and Mukono.

The water plant will add 50 million litres of water daily to the Kampala water supply system so that the facility will churn out a total supply of 240 million litres of water daily.

The newly constructed Ggaba water treatment plant was jointly funded by the Government of Uganda, the German and French Co-operation Agencies, the European Union and the European Investment Bank.
