‘Ugandans joke a lot,’ is the latest saying that has been embraced by Ugandans recently.
And this is probably what one of comedian Patrick ‘Salvador’ Idringi’s followers on facebook was doing when he bluntly told the man from Ombokolo that he knows the person who warms his wife while away.
It all started with a heartwarming message posted by the comedian on one of his numerous facebook accounts.
Dedicated to his wife and mother of his children Daphine, the post read; “Naye the power of Love knows no boundaries … How do I keep on falling for this woman everyday .. eh Kyoka I always thought I’d be a player Naye mama Ono Demu is enough for me.”
He continued: “Sometimes I tell her and she thinks I’m doing Katemba Naye nga mbela serious. Yono Mama wabana bange.. Kabite wange, 10 years in the business with 8 of them with her besides me and my story is one of success, it’s true what they say about a successful Man and having a strong woman besides him. I love you my Daphine.”
And as other friends ‘oohed and aahed’ a certain Martinez Selector Derulo tried to steal the thunder, posting “I know someone who bonks her when you in West African countries wandering.”
This statement left many baffled, but not Salvador, who casually hit back with ‘I know the person too .. but sharing is caring. Kasta it’s not a selector.”
The comedian is set to celebrate 10 years of comedy with a massive, Africa Laughs show on February 14. He will be joined by a star cast featuring Kenny Blaq, Eric Omondi, Eddie Kadi and Alfred Kaingo, Daniel Omara, Prince Emma, Ronnie Mc Vex, Agnes Akite and Madrat & Chiko. Tanzanian bongo star Harmonize will sooth lovers on the day..
