South African based Ugandan socialite Zari Hassan has ruled out the possibility of linking up with her ex-husband Nasibu Abdul Juma alias Diamond Platnumz, who is currently in the country for a show.
Zari who has jetted into the country for Miss Uganda 2019 finale that’s happening on Friday, July 25 at Kampala Sheraton Hotel, claimed that she has only come back for the beauty pageant, nothing else.
Coincidentally, the father of her two children (Latifah and Nillan) is also in the country, and he will be the headline performer at Comedy Store’s show due Thursday at UMA grounds Lugogo, something that triggered social media gossip and speculation.
However, in a video shared by Talent Africa, the mother of five cleared the air, as she stated that she left her responsibilities back in South Africa, only to play her judge role in Miss Uganda.
“I am here as one of the judges of Miss Uganda, it feels so good to come back to my country and do something even If am not staying here. I am only here for Miss Uganda, nothing else. Since my mum passed on I don’t have the reason to come back. But for Miss Uganda I had to drop my Kids and my work, anything for Uganda,” she said.
This celebrity ex-couple had a bitter separation in 2018, after Zari pinned the Tetema singer of philandering.
