Fourteeen DJs are set to grace the second edition of ‘UG Mix Maestro’ party, which comes to an end in a mega celebration today, Friday at Kyadondo Rugby Grounds.
The event is organized by Uganda Waragi in partnership with Association of DJs.
Launched in September, the campaign, which seeks to recognize and celebrate the unique talent that deejays have to offer, has featured regional deejay performances, bar activations and in-store special promotional offers.
During the launch, Agaba Tumusiime, Brand Manager-Uganda Waragi said the contribution of DJ’s to our music and entertainment industry is often taken for granted. “They are an essential element of urban nightlife. The DJ is central to any music experience and we appreciate that as Uganda Waragi. This year, we have put together a star-studded line-up of deejays who will traverse the country with us to deliver unique and exciting music experiences.” he said then.
Durring the regional tours, DJs visited and entertained revelers in Gulu, Arua, Mbale, Masaka, Mbarara.
Today’s finale is being hosted by MC Hypeman alongside all-star lineup DJs including Sir Aludah, DJ Slick Stuart, DJ Roja, DJ Jo, DJ Shan, Bexxx A DJ, DJ XZYL, DJ Ciza, DJ MaryJo, DJ Nimrod, DJ Lolah, DJ Cisse, DJ Magic Switch and Naselow Da Don.
According to organizers, revelers are going to be treated to an all-Uganda Waragi cocktail night laced with energetic music and lots of dance.
The spin masters will thrill music lovers by taking turns at the turntables.
Gates will be open starting 2pm till late. Entry fee is only Shs5,000 and it comes with a free Ug bottle.
