For much of Saturday morning and midmorning singer Henry Tigan was on his feet as he put final touches to a concert he was to host that night. A car that was carrying the sound machines broke down on the way to Kampala and the police called him saying he had not cleared with them to have the concert.

When he reached out to friends, they responded positively. One of the kind-hearted people was music promoter and philanthropist Sipapa came out to save the day by paying for a new set of machines that were used at the concert.

Tigan was thankful and requested fans to appreciate Sipapa. They responded with applause. Tigan was in good mood and put up a spirited performance before a full house of fans who sang along to his popular songs like Abogezi, World of Scandals, Aneganye to mention but a few.

Tigan performed alongside Dr. Hilderman with whom he did Mr. Matama. Revellers kept moving towards the stage to share their love with Tigan by giving him money. And talking about money, there were some sponsors in the house for example Adam Ntale of Ntale Skin products who gave Tigan ten million shillings which he said he will use to buy a car.

He received Shs200, 000 from Luzira’s LC3 chairman, George Kajubi and five million shillings Shadrack Nzeire.
