The embassy of Ethiopia has confirmed participation in the upcoming Uganda International Cultural Fair.
Also known as Ekyooto Cultural Festival, the event will run under the theme ” our diverse cultures celebrating each other”.
In a meeting between the Ambassador of Ethiopia and the Ag.Permanent Secretary Ministry of Tourism, Wildlife and Antiquities, it was agreed that Ethiopia would use the cultural festival as an opportunity to market their destination as well as Ethiopian cultures ranging from the Coffee making ceremony, dress code, food among other aspects.
This would give an opportunity to the Ugandan community to appreciate the unique cultures of the Ethiopians and vice versa.
The event is being organised by the tourism Ministry and Perfect Events together with other private sector partners.
The Uganda International Cultural Fair will be held from 9th – 11th August 2019 at Uganda Museum. It will be showcasing the diverse cultures of Uganda and that of the International community.
