Following the news at home
I almost celebrated at a funeral,
I almost died of laughter at a dead body
I almost forgot my bride at a wedding
I almost walked a naked mile in winter.
It dawned on me
It happened to be,
But most of me
knew it couldn’t be,
Though thoughts of me
Hoped it could be
That the old pig had died!!!
The cows jumped in hope,
For greener grass.
The dogs barked again.
The hens ate their eggs.
For sweet was the news that,
The pig that had become human.
Was dead!
Pieces like that, we can go with what you prefer. I feel there is alot of drama in this country that goes unmocked, undocumented, unsatirised and I feel I can risk the burden.
