Fortebet: Kasese punter stakes 1k, wins Shs418m

Shortly after Fortebet introduced 1 billion as the maximum win, Gerald Mugisa, a wielder from Kasese has taken home as many as shillings 418, 590, 464 from a stake of only 1,000/=.

It may seem that the winner selected so many matches to win. However, the reverse is true, he selected only 21 matches picked from many leagues across the world.

His ticket had 10 matches with odds between 2.00 and 2.97 and this greatly lifted his possible win. This ticket was composed of; home wins, full time win plus both to score, both to score, half with most goals and under 2.5 goals. Despite picking great odds, this winner needed to include two very small odds 0of 1.02 each-may be to get his target money. His ticket won and Fortebet had no hesitation in handing him the money at their Kololo head office.

Shortly after receiving the money, this winner said that, “I normally bet on teams that are little-known. On this ticket for example, I only had Juventus as the common team. The others are little-known teams.”

Explaining what he is going to use this money for, the winner said that he is going to build commercial houses from which he will be raising monthly income for many years to come.
