Muzaata agrees to meet Kenzo, the ‘Golden Boy who promised to become the biggest problem of Uganda’

Controversial Muslim cleric Nuhu Muazata has finally bowed to pressure and agreed to meet with singer Edrisa Musuza aka Eddy Kenzo to end their ongoing public bickering.

The Kenzo-Muzaata clash started when Muzaata told the singer to marry his mother who died over 20 years back. Muzaata made this statement as Kenzo’s ex-lover Rema Namakula introduced her new lover Hamza Sebunya to her family.

Kenzo, who is currently in Colombia for a music tour claimed that upon his return, he will hold a peaceful match to Kibuli Mosque to make Muzaata apologize for the statements he made about him.

Muzaata earlier claimed that he has no time for a ‘peasant from Masaka’ and also noted that Kenzo will not receive an apology from him.

But the pressure from fellow Muslim leaders and social media, forced Muzaata, who during an interview with a local media station, claimed that since Kenzo is his fellow Muslim, he is ready to meet with the singer and end their clash.

“We have to meet with Edrisa and talk to end all this. These petty social media fights won’t stop but I’m not scared of them. But what we have to do is meet and talk with Edrisa after all we are both Muslims,” he said.

Muzaata claimed that as a leader, he can’t stop on commenting or correcting the young generation when he sees a mistake.

“Rema is like a sister or a daughter to me because I knew her mother Nabosa Hamida, who was a namesake of mu mother Nalunkuma Hamida. The same applies to Edrisa. Rema and Kenzo are in the same age limit with my children so one can make me zip my mouth,” he said.

However on learning about Muzaata’s claims, Kenzo was not pleased at all, as he rushed on his social media platform, to note that all he wants from Muzaata is an apology.

The singer said that Ugandans have put him down several times, but not this time, if Muzaata fails to apologize for his statement, he is going to launch a serious war on him.

“I was told Mr Muzaata was on one radio station and said he can’t apologize, I’m not sure of this but, if it’s true then, am only left to misbehave with him. Edrisa Musuuza aka Eddy Kenzo the sweet heart of Uganda Golden boy to be the biggest problem of Uganda that’s my next move,” he said.

Kenzo told him fans to not blame him for his next move, for its going to be a real war with Muzaata.

“Whatever I am going to do next I request that you don’t blame me, that won’t change anything. Ugandans have abused me for so long, but its time this ends. If its death, I have already accepted to die, but am not going to accept these insult, this is a war now.”
