Former Makindye West Member of Parliament Hussein Kyanjo on Sunday returned to India for further treatment.
The revelation was made by Nakaseke South legislator Luttamaguzi Semakula who met him [Kyanjo] at Entebbe International Airport.
“Today I met one of my great legislators in last Parliament Hon. Kyanjo Hussein.. I met him at Entebbe air port on his way for further treatment abroad .Iam Happy that he is improving. He prayed for me and wished me good luck in our endeavors. What made me so happy is Haji calling me his hero from Nakaseke,” Luttamaguzi posted on his Facebook page.
Kyanjo was early this year diagnosed with stage 4 Cancer of the Colon. Doctors at Uganda Cancer Institute said former legislator had not more than two years to live.
He was in February flown to India for immediate treatment.
On the other hand, Kyanjo is battling with dystonia, a rare disease that eats up certain organs and muscles of the body.
For the last six years, he has had two toxin injections on the lower part of his jaws to keep the muscles in shape.
