‘Weasel is a legend’, Pallaso defends brother after failing to release music

Dancehall artiste Pius Mayanja alias Pallaso has defended his brother Weasel Manizo from social media critics who claimed that he has failed to release music ever since his Goodlyfe singing partner Radio Mowzey died.

During an interview with nbs after5, Pallaso said Weasel is a legend and can’t be rushed into releasing music every month.

“I don’t know why people don’t let Radio rest in peace. He did his part and left a lot of music for them. Radio’s death is not the end of the world. Weasel is no longer on the level of releasing a new song every month because he is already a legend,” said Pallaso.

Social media has always doubted the future of Weasel’s music career ever since Radio died, as some alleged that it could be the down fall of Weasel.

However, Pallaso alleges that his brother has sang so many timeless songs and has performed on stages that some artistes will die before reaching, so people should hold on that as they leave Weasel to find self at own pace.

After Radio’s death, Weasel has managed to release average collabos with artistes like King Saha ‘Mpa Love’, Hanson Baliluno ‘Tugubunye’ among others, but fans think he is sliding back musically given the form Goodlyfe had when Radio was still alive.

Radio Mozey died on February 1, 2018 at Case Hospital Kampala, after sustaining a blow on the head at Entebbe based night hangout De Bar, and as a duo, Radio and Weasel released many timeless songs like, lwaki onumya, Kuku, Bread and Butter, Zuena, Number emu, among others.
