Sudhir to add multibillion resort to his chain of hotels

Ugandan businessman Sudhir Ruparelia has unveiled a mega plan to redevelop Entebbe Ssese Beach Hotel into a world class five star.

The luxurious hotel that will sit on 15 acres of land at Abayita Ababiri, Entebbe Road is expected to cost USD3 million (Shs11 billion).

Its construction starts early this year.

Amos Wekesa, a hotelier himself said, this is going to change Entebbe economy and social life.

The venture is the latest addition to Ruparelia Group’s business empire.

Investment already in place include, Speke Resort Munyonyo, Munyonyo Commonwealth Resort, Kabira Country Club, Speke Hotel 1996, Speke Apartments, Forest Cottages Naguru, Dolphine Suites Bugolobi, Victoria University, Kampala Parents School, Dheli Public School, Kampala International School of Uganda.

Others are; Goldstar Insurance, Sanyu Fm 2000 Limited, Meera Investments, Rosebud, Premier Roses, Premier Recruitment Services, Crane Management Services the property management arm of the empire and a host of other thriving businesses in and outside the country.
